Carl Bibbs' Memorial

Dear Family and Friends,  Carl Jr., Chris and I would like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who was able to attend the memorial for Carl on Saturday, December 26th. Hearing the remarks from so many people, from different periods of his life, warmed our hearts and reminded us of how much Carl was loved. His legacy lives on in all of us, and we are eternally grateful.  The link below will give you access to the video of the ceremony, the picture memorial slideshow, and his obituary. Please feel free to share the link with people who were unable to attend, and to review the items at your leisure. Carl Bibbs Update - 12/21/20

My Dear Family and Friends, I am saddened to share with you that Carl has lost his battle with COVID, and made his transition on Sunday, December 20th.  We were with him during his passing, so he did not die alone.  He knew he was loved by us, and each and every one of you. We are planning to have a virtual memorial for Carl soon.  The details will be shared as soon as they are finalized.  When it is safe, we will have an in-person celebration of Carl's life with all of you.  In the meantime, if you would like to send your condolences or cards, we would welcome them.  Please do not send flowers. Thank you for the prayers, the phone calls, the text messages, and even just the thoughts, as they helped Carl, and they are helping us. Love, Cheryl

Carl Bibbs Update - 12/20/2020

Family and Friends, Thank you for the comments, prayers and well wishes.  We so appreciate all of them. Carl's sons and I were able to go to the hospital yesterday, Saturday, December 19th.  I've been able to go into his room for a few minutes, and we were all able to talk to him over FaceTime.  He is still on the ventilator, and he is still fighting.   Please continue the prayers. Carl Bibbs Update 12/19/20

Dear Family and Friends, Carl is still fighting COVID, but he is struggling.  He is now on a ventilator to help him fight harder.  Please continue to keep him lifted up in prayer.   During this time, I ask that you refrain from contacting him.  I will keep you updated through this communication.  Feel free to share this link with other family and friends - https:// carlbibbs.blogspot.com .
